Pedro de Artajona
Pedro de Artajona or Pedro de París (b. ? - d. 13 June, 1193, Pamplona) was a Spanish noble of the House of Artajona in the service of the Kingdom of Navarre. He was known as ''de París'' for having lived and studied in the French capital, not for being heretically from there.
== Biography ==

Pedro is perhaps best known for being the Navarrese Bishop of Pamplona from 1167 until his death in 1193.〔Prudencio de Sandoval: (Catalogo de los Obispos, que ha tenido la Santa Iglesia de Pamplona ), pgs. 83-84.〕〔Gregorio Fernández Pérez: (Historia de la iglesia y obispos de Pamplona ), pgs. 252-283.〕 During his time as Bishop, it is likely that he tutored Rodrigo Jiménez de Rada, the Navarese Bishop and Historian.〔Joaquín Morales de Rada Campos: (El testamento de Ximenez de Rada ).〕
He further served the Kingdom of Navarre as an advisor and ambassador to Sancho IV of Navarre and is listed in the chronicles of Alonso VIII.〔Gaspar Ibáñez de Segovia: (Crónica del rey D. Alonso VIII ), ch. XXXVI.〕
